Camp Highlander knows that in order for their videos to grab the attention of new and returning campers, they have to be fresh every year. They need a fun way to show all the activities available, but also to reinforce the fellowship and leadership skills that are so important to the camp’s curriculum. On top of that they know they have two audiences: campers and parents. The two are equally important in their marketing message, and Camp Highlander must gain their trust and confidence to bring them to Camp Highlander.
SOLUTION
Bclip started working with Camp Highlander in late winter to concept their video for the year. Bclip used existing footage from archive for the basis of the video. New footage was shot with their new programs, activities, and counselors to put a fresh face on their yearly camp video. We then created a shooting schedule to allow us to capture the new footage. The final video was delivered on DVD, CD-ROM, and Web Streaming Video; Bclip handled all the media duplication. In the end, Highlander saved time and money by using existing footage from the Bclip archive and starting the production process early. The videos are used as presentation materials for recruitment and sent out to campers nationwide.
