Bclip Production’s explosive growth continues this fall as the multimedia company opens corporate sales offices in Dallas, Atlanta, and Baton Rouge. The rapid expansion of the past three years culminates this October with the opening of Bclip’s new corporate headquarters and production studios, located on Stage A of Blue Ridge Motion Pictures in Asheville, NC.

The new hub’s design and features were customized to meet the needs of Bclip’s versatile and ever-changing roster of projects. Production Manager, Mike Berlin, frequented the construction site and oversaw the development of the 750 square-foot studio located within Bclip’s 3,000 square-foot complex. “We knew we needed a space that would allow us to adapt to the very different needs of our clients,” Berlin said. “With this studio we will be able to shoot everything from TV shows to music videos to training videos.”

The studio features 24 channel audio recording capability, a cyc wall, green screen, lighting grid, and voice-over booth. The rest of the facility includes six spacious edit bays, two edit suites with studio connections, an interactive conference room with full audio/video capabilities, their own archived video library, sales offices, and a green room for talent and special guests.

In addition to the outstanding facilities positioned within the walls of Bclip’s new complex, the company also has full access to the resources of Blue Ridge Motion Pictures. These include 360,000 square-feet of sound stage with rain simulation capabilities; a 180,000 gallon capacity wet stage; a 42’ by 14’ hard cyc wall; a stadium seating, surround sound theatre for project viewing; a professional equipment rental facility; a full service commissary; and a carpentry shop for set design. Major motion pictures filmed at Blue Ridge include “Patch Adams,” “My Fellow Americans,” and “Last of the Mohicans.”

With all of these resources at their fingertips, members of the Bclip team are very excited to begin work in this new, state-of-the-art facility. “The possibilities for production are literally endless,” Berlin said. “It’s going to be a fun place to work.”
