Bclip Productions donated their time and resources once again this February to aid another deserving charity. In partnership with Wash U.S.A. and the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Bclip launches a call to action video this March in Las Vegas at the Car Care World Expo. Past projects for the Asheville, NC, production company include videos for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, and broadcasting a benefit concert for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Joseph Nilo, the lead editor at Bclip Productions, assembled this piece in conjunction with material provided by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a nationwide organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. “The biggest satisfaction you can get in this business is doing good work for a good cause,” Nilo said, “and adding to the emotional impact for a very worthy charity is so rewarding.”

The Wash U.S.A and Make-A-Wish Foundation project is only the latest in a string of goodwill campaigns undertaken by Bclip Productions. Company CEO, Alfred Berlin, makes it a mission for this company to stand for something and make a difference. “We make our living every day supplying top-of-the-line multimedia services to our customers,” Berlin said. “But it is the philosophy of this company that with the resources we possess, it’s our responsibility and our privilege to help make our community a better place.”

Wash U.S.A Organizer, Mark Curtis, could not be happier with the impressive results of such a philosophy. His organization, Wash U.S.A, organizes carwashes across the country to donate a day of sales to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. “If I could picture our perfect video in my mind’s eye,” Curtis said, “the result is exactly what was conveyed by Bclip.” Working within a strict three minute time frame, with the requirement of implementing a variety of messages, Bclip created a video that encompasses the heart and moment of the noble charity. Wash U.S.A has granted over a hundred wishes for young boys and girls across the country. “All you have to do,” Curtis said, “is watch the video, and it really brings it all home.”
