Mc”Insert-creative-name-here” is the head honcho of our shooting department. With a BA in photography from Prescott College, Michael has wandered through North and South America developing his eye for amazing shots (video, not liquor… ok, sometimes liquor). After cutting his teeth at a major news station in Charlotte, McSwain joined the Bclip team in 2006. When he’s not entertaining his dreams of rock stardom, or planning his next trip to Patagonia, you’ll probably find our camera guy paddling down one of the many whitewater rivers in the southern Appalachian.

No one place will do.  I’d like to have a place in Peru, London, San Fransisco, Detroit..  No wait, scratch Detroit.. I don’t want to live in Detroit.

What would you do if you had a time machine?

Camp out on the grassy knoll, see who killed Kennedy, come back to 1990 and make the movie JFK, then take off to the future where the CIA (or the mafia) can’t find me..

If I took a look inside your refrigerator what would I find?

Not much unfortunately..

Which super power would you like to have and why?

I would like to be able to fly so I can fly around singing “I could fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings” because Bette Midler is just that cool..

How would you explain what you do to a 5 year old?

I would probably make something up. Like “I’m an astronaut, I make movies of martians” or something like that.

What shows are set to record every week on your DVR/TiVo?

No hablo Tivo, but I like Lost, House and the Daily Show.

I’m a dork but not that big of a dork..  Sorry, I got nothin..

I want to ride my motorcycle from where ever I am to Patagonia and back.
