Mission Health is a system of hospitals located in North Carolina. When they partnered with Donate Life to produce a video aimed at persuading individuals to register as organ donors, we were honored to be chosen as the company tasked with creating their work. Once our key characters were identified – doctors, recipients, and donor families – we wrote a script that allowed them to tell the story in their own words. This interview-driven video has clearly established themes and pointed messages. We made the artistic decision to compose much of this video with time lapse photography and slow motion video to convey the importance of time in a person’s decision to register. Interviews were emotional and heart-felt. We feel that the message achieved here through the voices of the participants is a compelling call to action that a traditional narrative could not have told nearly as well.
