Biltmore

Client Profile

biltmore.com

Since 1895, Biltmore has had the natural beauty of the mountains and the majestic house and gardens to beguile, inspire, and allow guests to escape from the everyday.  Biltmore’s overnight guests stay at the The Inn on Biltmore Estate or the Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate.  Visitors can enjoy a meal at 5 estate restaurants, a variety of outdoor activities, and more.  Guests can also reimagine their own surroundings with a line of home furnishings, bedding and bath items, and gourmet foods.

PROJECT BUDGET:

$6,600

Problem

Biltmore needed a way to do 2 things: convey their core values to their employees, and educate their personnel about their different entities.  With a large workforce and a geographically expansive workplace, they needed to help employees all understand their core values (community service, hospitality, integrity, profitability, teamwork, authenticity, quality, and leadership) and how they relate to the work they do every day.

Solution

Biltmore’s Human Resources department preaches the power of storytelling to all their corporate clients.  To accommodate both their needs, we created a series of videos in which each video would tell the story of a different Biltmore division (Food & Beverage, The Wine Company, etc.), and in that story articulate how each division embodies a different core value.  The result was a memorable series of videos that entertained and informed their employees, and bolstered their brand.
